July News: How Do We Love Our Neighbor?

How Do We Love Our Neighbor?

If you really keep the royal law found in Scripture, “Love your neighbor as yourself,” you are doing right. ~James 2:8

Loving our neighbors is not always easy. Many times other people's actions are offensive to us. We do not know how to treat them.

In American culture we often confuse what love is with apathy. Apathy is defined as the absence of emotion. It's a free pass on behaviors that are wrong in God's sight.

How do we get free from apathy and seek justice, mercy, and grace as Jesus did?

Cowboys of the Old West were known for both their depravity and their chivalry. They were known for adventure and innovation. Join the Visual Sanctuary this month as we explore loving our neighbors by working with our neighbors to build a cowboy board game.
